Assessment & reporting

Know the house before you commit
Assessment & reporting is how we start every significant project. It is often where homeowners should start before calling three contractors. We walk the property, map moisture and structural concerns, photograph conditions, and deliver a written report that separates urgent work from work that can wait.
What the visit includes
A typical assessment covers roof-to-foundation review, moisture readings in suspect areas, documentation of prior repairs, and a prioritized scope with budget ranges. You receive a PDF you can share with insurers, architects, or other trades, so everyone works from the same facts.
Assessment does not commit you to Ashford for the build. It gives you clarity. Many clients use the report to sequence restoration, roofing, and contracting as separate phases, or to negotiate from a position of knowledge. When you are ready to proceed, the same team that wrote the report can carry the work through.
